Oaktree Interiors are pleased to announce that we have been appointed to undertake the design and fit-out project for the dental specialists, Curaden UK Ltd. Their new office interiors and warehouse facility is located at the Bicton Industrial Estate in Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire, and it is important that it completely suits the company's needs.
Scheduled to commence in May, the project's requirements include the conversion of the building from a multi-tenanted facility into one location to comfortably accommodate Curaden's storage and office space requirements. The location is ideal as it is close to their current facilities in the Harvard Business Park in Kimbolton.
Who Are Curaden?
Curaden UK Ltd is the UK division of Curaden AG. Operating in more than 60 countries, all over the world, this Swiss-based company creates and provides a range of oral health products for all kinds of requirements.
Of course, this international organisation is best known for its industry-leading Curaprox and Oraldent brands. Both of these brands offer everything from dental health items to beauty products, including toothbrushes, toothpastes and flossing products. The products that they create are of such high-quality that they are regularly used by leading dental practices.
Curaden's Office Interiors Fit-Out Project In Cambridgeshire
Curaden first contacted Oaktree Interiors in February 2016, after having seen some of our great case studies for similar projects throughout the Cambridgeshire area. At the time, the company was in the process of acquiring the new building in Kimbolton, which was occupied by a large printing operation and a sub-let tenant.
Initially, Curaden needed the professional Oaktree team to create space planning and design ideas for the new office interiors. We were asked to display how the workspace could be re-configured to suit their single-occupancy requirements. We needed to open the divided space into one work area. That included developing to area into a bright, open-plan office space with modern meeting facilities and comfortable working spaces.
Having received proposals from three separate companies, Oaktree Interiors was chosen to complete the office interiors fit-out project based on our great design and extensive experience. Our proposal also offered the most cost-effective way to open up the space, whilst allowing for the new offices to benefit from natural light. Previously, the first floor offices were an extremely dark working area, but thanks to our new design they are to be opened up and made into comfortable, bright and airy workstations.
We are to equip the new workplace with a mixture of solid and glazed partitions, as well as new data and electrical system installations. Artificial lighting will also be installed throughout the site, as well as a focus on natural light throughout the workspace.
